Create Resistance or Creative Acceptance

What can we do about resistance? Is there an alternative? Should we resist resistance? The alternative is acceptance.

Resistance is not a new word, but for many of us awareness of resistance is new. In Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary, resistance is defined: “to withstand, to strive against, to exert force in opposition, to counteract, defeat or frustrate.”

Resistance is useful if there is a flu or virus around. If your body’s immune system is working as it should, you’ll have good “resistance to disease”–you’ll stay healthy. Resistance to the temptation to do something that goes against your core values will strengthen you, while giving into that temptation will weaken your character.

Resistance can be an indicator that something isn’t quite right for you, at this time. It’s good to notice resistance and to ask yourself, “Why am I experiencing this resistance?”

There’s another side to resistance. The other side of resistance destroys the very thing that we desire. This resistance arises from a dislike for change. Humans are sort of strange in that we offer a desire to the Universe, and then we resist the very changes this desire sets in motion. For example, when I offered my desire to become financially independent, I didn’t realize that the answer would come in the shape of loss of income from my former spouse. But it did. When I asked for financial independence I had a different scenario in mind that went something like this: “My business income will increase steadily until it reaches a certain amount, then the spousal support can decrease.”

The Universe responded to my desire–just not as I had expected–and I resisted the change. The Universe knew that in order to become independent I had to first BE independent. I wanted the security of spousal income, but that emotional dependence on an outside source was holding me back from independence.

I find it easier to accept change when I have initiated it. When someone else initiates change that affects me, my first reaction is to resist. However, the Law of Attraction teaches that everything that touches my life is the result of some vibration in me. It may be a vibration I don’t like. It may be a subtle vibration I pay little attention to. It may be a vibration that has gone underground–like anger or hurt that I did not acknowledge at the time I first experienced it.

Emotions are “energy in motion.” When we try to suppress an emotion (especially one we’ve judged as negative or dangerous) it does not go away, it goes into our subconscious mind where it silently sabotages our life by setting up resistance which invites more negative experiences and creates tension between people who used to enjoy each other.

Resistance doesn’t just put on the brakes to receiving our desires–Resistance disintegrates; it separates; it decomposes; it fragments our True Self. We lose our sense of wholeness. We feel disconnected from Source (God, the Divine). This disconnection begins to show up in how we feel about ourselves and how we relate to others. Soon, we are quarreling with our best friend and blaming them for the situation. Sound familiar?

What can we do about resistance? Is there an alternative? Should we resist resistance? That doesn’t work. If we notice resistance and try to suppress it or resist it–we create MORE!

The alternative is acceptance. Not resignation, but creative acceptance. I teach the history of the Law of Attraction and it’s interesting to note that in the Middle Ages there was a great persecution of anyone who held a philosophical belief that differed from that defined by political and religious authorities. People who understood the Law of Attraction, those individuals who maintained their personal power through controlling their thoughts and emotions, were faced with a serious choice: either resist the powers-that-be and die; comply with the demands of the aggressors, and deny themselves; or be creative. In that case, many practitioners of metaphics (the Law of Attraction) simply moved to Arabia where they found freedom to live their beliefs in an integral way.

Change is bound to happen. People are going to make choices which affect our lives. We are going to make choices which have an effect on others. Charles Handy said, “Change is the only constant.” How we handle change–invited or uninvited–will affect our vibration and in turn, our quality of life.

Take a few moments to notice resistance in your body, mind or emotions. What does it feel like? Restriction? Tightness? Blockage? Frustration? Confusion? Judgment? Indignation? Yes, all those feelings are the evidence of resistance.

When I’m noticing resistance, I ask my Higher Self for understanding and a creative acceptance. My prayer will be something like this: “Please show me the root of my resistance and at the same time, give me an idea of how to creatively accept this situation.”

The bottom line is: Change is going to happen. I’m either going to create resistance or acceptance. Once choice contributes to the disintegration of my character and the other strengthens my sense of wholeness. It’s my choice.

Network marketing is not always easy for everyone. There are individuals who are very natural at talking with others and find it quite easy to be in a room full of strangers and talk about what they have to offer. Then there are those who are terrified of the very idea of network marketing and needing to talk to anyone about anything.

Network marketing does not have to be a horrible experience for you and you do not have to have a panic attack at the thought of attending one. When you prepare for network marketing and do not go in with your eyes closed, you will find that it will make an enormous difference in the productivity of your business. Network marketing can be beneficial in building a plethora of resources and contacts that you can have at your fingertips to propel your business forward.

If you do not have a briefcase, it would be wise to purchase one. In your briefcase, you can keep your business cards, brochures, and informative documents about your business and other items that you can use to talk to others about what you have to offer. Keep your briefcase with you at all times, especially when you go to events to network.

Decide in advance how many people you want to talk to and do just that. If it is your first time, you may only want to talk to three people. Although once you are there, you will probably find yourself relaxing and notice that you came home with more than three contacts. Do not forget the business cards of the people you meet. In the excitement, you may forget their names. It is a good idea to jot down some relevant information on the back of the card to help you remember why or why not you like that particular contact.

One way to get to know those who come to the event is to volunteer to greet people as they come in. You are the first person they meet and then you can go up to them during the meeting with some ground under your feet and not feel so terrified.

Being a good listener is a key to being a good at networking. If you spend all your time talking about yourself, and how good you are and very little time, listening to them you will be wasting your time. Remember, people like to talk about themselves and if you let them, they will and they will leave the event thinking how much they enjoyed talking to you and will remember you. This is also an excellent way to glean information about them and the business they have to offer.

What does it take to duplicate success?

There are 3 things involved in duplicating success.

* Beliefs
* Mental states
* mental strategies

If you duplicate these the way somebody you wish to be like you’ll have the same type of results.

This can be a difficult task for some because they can not duplicate their experience. I believe that you can. Two people can have the exact same experience and produce entirely different results.

Why is this?

It’s not the experience that is important but how somebody filters that experience and through these filters remembers it.

How the experts filter their experiences is the key to duplicating success. You can duplicate almost anybody’s success in almost anything , picking up women, athletic ability, running a business etc…

Most of the experts aren’t fully aware of what they do. You conscious mind (which is what you are aware in the present tense) is usually concerned with what you can not do well.

Your unconscious mind is which is everything else in your mind.. is in control of everything you do well.

A great example is think about learning to drive. At first you had to put ALL your concentration on it.. Remember getting behind that wheel with somebody else as they turned pale white from fear??

Now if you’ve been driving for a few months/years…you can listen to the radio, talk on your cellphone, eat some fast food in your lap and it won’t do much to your driving ability because it’s unconscious..

When I talked about the experts not usually fully aware think about the car example above. Now imagine if you had no muscle/kinesthetic feedback while driving. (that pull of your arm while turning the wheel) or something… but only visual. It could be done…but would take another few times to get used to that.

Now Beliefs are the main factors of how we filter info..

They are the Matrix. How we percieve reality.

What you get out of life is heavily dependant on what your unconscious beliefs are.

Think about the top snipers in the military.

They might have some beliefs like

* Shooting well is important for survival
* Hunting is fun
* Mental rehearsal is important to successful performance
* If I don’t hit my target, it has to do with my performance

Now take the new recruits in the military who are kinda afraid of guns.

They could have some beliefs like

* Guns are evil; they kill people
* THis gun is loud when I shoot it and I can lose my hearing
* If I miss my target my gun is misaligned

Now think just on beliefs alone why the top shooters were better than the new recruits.

Let’s talk about some of the beliefs of top seducers..

* It’s not about being rude to other people, it’s about being nice to yourself
* The strongest frame always wins
* It’s my world I can do whatever I want
* It’s my way, my way or the highway
* Personal space doesn’t exist
* Women want men by default
* I am attractive
* I am skilled at seduction
* Always be comfortable in things that you do
* Everything is an indication of interest
* Your limitations are just your beliefs
* Women are friendly
* Nobody is watching me do this pickup
* Women LOVE sex
* women are fun
* I am HER type
* I will make her day by talking with her
* I have all the seduction tools/techniques and beliefs I need
* It’s easy to connect with others

Now think about some of the beliefs I’ve been pointing out to others on this board..

How many of the above do you find yourself arguing with?

Think about it

Think about a workshop/ ebook /message board or anywhere you’ve gotten information where you learned about seduction. Did the teacher teach you his beliefs?

Some of their “techniques” might have been taught due to his belief system.(and they might not have been either) But he probably didn’t teach his most important beliefs.

In addition you probably rejected a few beliefs–the ones that crashed with yours. Yet without sharing the beliefs of the person you wish to have the same success as you will never be able to get the same results.

The invention of the World Wide Web, and its introduction into our lives, has created a vast global market place. Of course, it’s possible to sell everything from cars to DVD’s. The other item you can sell is information, and that’s probably the most valued commodity of all.

The creation and marketing of information has never been easier, cheaper or faster. The information can be issued throughout the world at the touch of a button, making for high profit margins. The era we live in today is known as the Information Age, and it taps into the emerging economies such as China and India as well as the established ones.

So what information can be sold? First, locate a need in the market and think of ways to distribute the information. Information can be bought as e-books, a web site, or downloadable software. Information on special interests, in the form of articles, reported surveys or user group newsletters all have a demand. Everything from ‘How To Manuals’ on home made wine to analyzing stock market movements.

Selling information is a very straightforward concept, without the need to spend ages getting a product through Research and Development, and then into an expensive production stage. You don’t have to carry stock, so no boxes of engine parts or whatever will be cluttering up your attic. You just need a good idea, a computer, and basic computer knowledge. This is a business you can set up for next to nothing.

A good web site where your customers can log in and receive a prompt efficient service is vital. You need a secure site, which will process orders, payment and delivery. Looking after the customer online is just as important as working through any other medium, and they will expect delivery in a timely manner. Shipping the orders can really eat into the time, and therefore profits of a conventional business, so another advantage of selling information online is the simple ability to send everything via email.

The best thing is you can do all of this, sitting in your pajamas and drinking your coffee!

You can begin to weave lots of money as you understand the subatomic nature of money and how it interacts with your present reality. When you understand that core of money at its finer subatomic level you will realize that you are never poor.

There is a science to manifesting money. When you understand that core of money at its finer subatomic level you will realize that you are never poor. It does not always take money to make money.

Like everything in life there is a foundation and greater levels which go beyond there. There are many people who when first understanding the law of attraction think that all that is ever needed is to wish for it and the money will come.

Then there are others who hope for more money, think they understand how the law of attraction works and continue to work hard while scattering their energy. They lack focus and lack of focus means lack of power.

Your knowledge of the law of attraction is the base, yet there are many levels which enhance your application of the law of attraction. Once you take the time to understand and study those levels you can apply them to anything. You can truly start from nothing.

The first step is to begin to see money opportunities all around you. The more aware you become of how money exchanges hands and how it flows the more confident and skilled you will become in weaving it towards you.

It does not take a particular education; it does not take large amounts of your own money to get the law of attraction to begin blessing you with money. Challenge yourself to learn the universal laws then begin to apply your knowledge of money to those universal laws. How many ways can you make money that does not require you to spend one penny?

You can begin to weave lots of money as you understand the subatomic nature of money and how it interacts with your present reality.
